Tena Thompson

Tena is my father's mother. She was one of three attractive daughters of Ole and Caroline (Olsen) Thompson. Her life in rural SD could not have been easy (as was the case for many others). I can tell that she and her daughter took special care of my father. (Tena saved quite a few records about my father's childhood.) I really enjoyed visits to her and to her farm. Her never-to-be-reproduced biscuits were legendary among the family; I can still imagine their aroma.
