1908 Harvest

I am fortunate to have found a small number of high resolution photos of the grain harvest of 1908 in Potter County, South Dakota. I believe that these photos were taken on land farmed by the family of Ole Thompson and his wife Caroline Olsen, assisted for a while by Joseph Rhombs. This land (in the NW corner of Twp 120N, Rng 75W, 5th meridian) is near the northern boundary of the county and a few miles west of the town of Hoven.
